BHUBANESWAR: Online Auction for Kutinga Manganese-Block in Odisha’s Koraput began on Friday at a Premium of 90.90 Percent. The auction continued till Saturday morning at closed at 145.50 Percent at around 5.45 am.Eswaravaka Venkatakrishna was declared Preferred bidders for the block.
Kutinga Manganese Block, Laxmipur in Koraput. The 47.66 ha Kutinga block, explored up to G2 level, contains 2.55 mt of manganese ore at a 10% Mn cut-off, with an average grade of 20.67% Mn. A substantial part of the lease area falls under forest land.
