CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR:On the occasion of Duty Day, the All India National Educational Federation Cuttack district branch organized a function at the Postgraduate Education Department of Ravenshaw University on Sunday evening. The function was presided over by District President Dr. Chittaranjan Panda and Madhusudan Law University Vice Chancellor Prof. Kamaljeet Singh was the chief guest and senior educationist Prof. Dinesh Patnaik was the keynote speaker.

Giving the opening remarks, Dr. Narayan Mohanty, member of the National Executive Council of the Federation, said that to create awareness among teachers about duty, the Federation is celebrating Duty Day across the country every year from Swami Vivekananda Jayanti to Netaji Subhas Bose Jayanti. The chief guest Prof. Singh highlighted the role of teachers in nation building and called upon them to perform their duties effectively.

Mahasangh Educational Cell Head Dr. B.C. Das gave the welcome speech, followed by State President Professor Shivbrat Das introducing the guests. Professor Umakant Mishra, Professor Yudhishthir Sahu, Professor Krishnapriya Behera, Dr. Kshirod Kumar Sahu, Chairman Mohit Kar, Professor Chakradhar Nayak, Professor Gopinath Panda, Professor Ajay Pati, Professor Ganeshwar Swain delivered their keynote speeches. Finally, District Editor Professor Mihir Ranjan Kar proposed the vote of thanks.
