On the eve of Utkal Diwas, Samrudha Odisha pledges for a Developed Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: Former IAS Officer Dr Jatish Mohanty led Samrudha Odisha on Thursday pledged for a development Odisha on the eve  of State’s formation Day, Utkal Diwas on Friday, April 1.

In a statement, Samrudha Odisha State president Dr Mohanty,  said 86 years back today’s Odisha was born; 75 years have passed after achieving our independence.  Still we remain as a backward state in spite of plenty of natural resources. It’s time to take solemn oath to transform Odisha and make it a developed state in five years time.

“Our five points agenda in five years, given people trust us and provide with an opportunity to serve them –  make all the 90 lakh families happy, healthy and blissful with a minimum monthly income of Rs.20,000;   transform all 50,000 villages and 114 towns into model entities;  save the common man from clutches of corruption;  involve people and all political parties in decision making of important government policies and activities; and

taking administration to doorsteps of people,” Dr Mohanty said.

“Given the expertise and experience of our associates in “Samruddha Odisha”, we are determined to achieve those in cooperation and participation of all Odias.This will usher in a Rama Rajya in the land of Prabhu Jagannath. He will bless us profusely since we will erase the blot attached to His land so far. Each Odia will raise his head high and be an example to others. A new India will take birth in Odisha and its infectious effect will inspire other states to follow our foot steps. Ultimately it will purge the country of the ill practices which is not allowing us to be a developed nation,” Dr Mohanty added.
