BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Vigilance said Sukanta Kr Das, Junior Revenue Assistant, District Emergency Section, Collectorate, Jagatsinghpur, who was charge sheeted in a bribery case,has been dismissed from Government service by the competent authority following his conviction.

Dr. Patita Paban Barik, Former Medical Officer, I/c, CHC, Gurundia in Sundargarh, A/p-Medical Officer I/c, CHC, Gurandi, in Gajapati, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance for taking bribe, was convicted to 5 years prison & sent to jail custody.
Pabitra Mohan Naik, Ex-JE (Retd) and Suresh Chandra Satpathy, Ex- Junior Soil Conservation Assistant (Retired), both of O/o PD Watershed, in Deogarh , who were charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance, for misappropriation of Government money, were convicted to 2 yrs jail & fine Rs.20,000/-.
