BHUBANESWAR: With many big, medium and small scale industries facing hardship in getting land to steer their industrial projects, Odisha Government has decided to fast forward the land acquisition and resolve land related issues for the industrial sector. Sources said, many industries are facing trouble in land acquisition and many projects, which are in line for expansion, getting delayed.
A high-level review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Principal Advisor to CM, Asit Tripathy, in which, Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma and MD of IDCO and IPICOL Bhupendra Singh Poonia were among those present.
The objective of the meeting was to fast forward the land acquisition & resolve land related issues for the industrial sector. Senior officials of Industries Department, IDCO, IPICOL, and DIPA team were present.
