BHUBANESWAR: Minister of Steel and Mines of Odisha Prafulla Kumar Mallik along with Alok Tandon, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, have jointly inaugurated the Indian Pavilion at the Mining Indaba 2022 at Cape Town in South Africa.
Besides, Minister Mallick, Odisha Director of Mines, Debidutta Biswal was also present on this occasion.
Shri Arun Kumar Shukla, CMD, HCL, Shri Sumit Deb, CMD, NMDC, Dr Veena Kumari D., Jt. Secy., Ministry of Mines, Smt. Vismita Tej, Jt.Secy., Ministry of Coal, Shri Anandji Prasad, Project Advisor, Ministry of Coal, Directors & other senior officers of Mining CPSEs graced the event.
Inspired by the vision of New India envisaged by PM Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Mines have set up a Pavilion in Mining Indaba 2022 at Cape Town.
The 2022 Mining Indaba summit began in Cape Town South Africa. The summit is scheduled to run until the end of the week and intends to highlight the issue surrounding mining.
