Odisha Police STF conducted raid at Bhubaneswar Railway Station Platform and apprehended 10 Bangladeshi Nationals including 6 male, 3 female persons and a juvenile

BHUBANESWAR:   Acting on a secret information from confidential sources about unauthorised entry of 09 numbers of Bangladeshi Nationals illegally to Odisha without any Passport, Visa or any valid travel document a team of officers of STF conducted raid at Bhubaneswar Railway Station Platform and apprehended 10 numbers of Bangladeshi Nationals including 6 numbers of male, 3 Nos. of female persons and a juvenile.

On interrogation they disclosed that they belong to Bangladesh and had crossed the border illegally through their agent near Dhuburi border(Assam) and came to Bhubaneswar to reside here. During their personal search 7 (seven) Nos of mobile phones, some Bangladeshi currency note and Indian currency note were recovered and seized from their possession.

As Bangladeshi Nationals have entered India without any passport, visa or any travel document to reside here at Bhubaneswar suppressing their real identity and hence, they are liable U/s.14 of the Foreigners Act 1946 and STF P.S.Case No.06/2025, U/s.14 of the Foreigners Act 1946 has been registered against them and all the accused persons were arrested and were forwarded to judicial custody. Furtherinvestigation is continuing.
