BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Police S.T.F arrest A man with Brown sugar worth 26 lakhs in Bhubaneswar . In a Major crack down on drug smuggling.The S.T. F of Odisha police seized 263 gram of brown- sugar worth 26 lakhs from Bhubaneswar.
A team of S.T.F conducted a special operation on Sunday evening and apprehended a drug peddler named Jyoti and Krishna from Bomikhal village of Laxmi Sagar police- station in Bhubaneswar.
According to S.T.F source a subsequent search to the seizure of 263gm brown sugar. The accused failed to produce any valid documents authorising possession of the contraband. A case has- been registered under section 21(c) of NDPC Act of 1985 and further investigation underway.
