BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: Odisha DGP Abhay on Wednesday led the State Police in remembering the heroic role played by as many as 41 COVID-19 warriors , who lost their lives on line of duty during COVID-19 crisis.
On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day, DGP and Senior Officers of Odisha Police paid homage to 3 Police Martyrs of Odisha Police and others of various Police Establishments in India who made supreme sacrifice of their lives in the line of duty. DGP and Senior Officers of Odisha Police also paid tribute to its 41 Police Corona Warriors who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
The Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal paid homage to the gallant warriors of the police forces who have laid down their lives to the call of duty on the #PoliceCommemorationDay2020. “Sacrifices of our martyrs are priceless and eternal”, observed the Governor.
