Odisha Police Participates in Rasthriya Ekta Diwas Parade at Kevadia in Gujarat

CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: The Rasthriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) celebrated across the country to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Iron Man Sri Sardar Vallbhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India, is a special occasion to foster and reinforce our dedication to preserve and strengthen unity, integrity and security of our nation.

To mark the occasion, the Rasthriya Ekta Diwas parade was organized at the Statue of Unity, Kevadia, Gujarat with participation of Police forces from all regions of the country and Central Armed Police Forces.

Odisha Police also took part in the parade organized on this occasion in Gujarat. The team was consisting of 36 police personnel and two Sub-Inspectors (Armed) Bibhu Prasad Pradhan and Tapan Kumar Behera which was led by Asst. Commandant Deepak Kumar Gadnayak.

Similarly, National Unity Day was observed at the State Police Headquarters, Cuttack.  Shri S. Dev Datta Singh, IPS, I.G. of Police (Hdqrs) administered the Rasthriya Ekta Diwas pledge to officers and staffs of State Police Headquarters, Odisha, Cuttack. Various Police establishments of the state also observed the occasion and took oath for unity and integrity.
