BHUBANESWAR: SP, Special Branch, Bhubaneswar, Odisha has alerted all concerned officials for the visit of Sudarshan TV Editor Suresh Chavhanke to the State. Suresh Chavhanke who is expected to visit Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Puri and Keonjhar during his stay in Odisha, may likely come under heavy security scanner with Special Branch keeping a close on his visit.
The Special Branch’s immediate response came following reports that, Sudarshan TV Editor Suresh Chavhanke is expected to meet Australian missionary Graham Stains murder accused Dara Singh for an interview, who had been lodged at Keonjhar Jail since past 21 years. At around 10.15 AM on Wednesday , Sudarshan TV Editor Suresh Chavhanke is expected to pay a courtesy visit to Keonjhar Jail to meet 59 year old Dara Singh. Singh is a key accused in murder of Australian missionary Graham Staines and his two young sons in 1999.
Suresh Chavhanke is expected to attend several functions in Cuttack, besides, he may also visit Puri’s Lord Jagannath Temple and Lord Lingaraj Temple here.
“Inputs indicates that, Suresh Chavhanke, Editor in Chief of Sudarshan News TV Channel will visit Odisha from September 20 to 21.During the visit and stay of Editor , request to remain alert, ground level intelligence may be collected and acted uopn and necessary security , preventive and precautionary measures as deemed proper may please be taken by assessing the ground situation to make the journey hassle free.
