BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: Investiture ceremony was held at Police Bhawan, Bhubaneswar on Sunday on occasion of 75th Independence Day. A total 7nos of Police COVID martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty and 66 nos of Police personnel of different units/ranks have been awarded with DGP’s Disc i.e. 01 no of IGP, 01 no of AIGP, 01 no of Addl. SP, 01 no. of Deputy Commandant, 08 nos of DSP, 01 no of Assitant Commandant, 09 nos of Inspector,02 nos of Subedar, 07 nos of S.I., 05 nos of ASI, 01 no of Havildar Major, 07 nos of Havildar , 02 nos of Commando, 15 nos of Constable, 02 nos of Sepoy and 03 nos of OAPF.
Following officers and men were awarded DGP’s Disc on 15 August 2021 on the occasion of 75th Independence Day for their meritorious service during the year-2021.
