Odisha Police hits 702 in Plasma Donation

BHUBANESWAR: Impressed by the call of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and noble efforts of DGP Abhay, Odisha Police on Thursday set yet another millstone in its service to the people of the State during COVID-19 as it crossed 700 mark in plasma donation.

“Till Thursday, 702 Corona Warriors of Odisha Police have donated plasma at different locations like SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, IGH, Rourkela, VIMSAR, Burla, M.K.C.G Medical College & Hospital, Berhampur, Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar and Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital, Koraput and saved the lives of other critical COVID patients,” DGP office said in a press statement. “We are sure to cross 800 soon,” it said.

Angul, Balasore District, Berhampur District, Bhadrak District, Bolangir District, Cuttack District, Gajapati District, Ganjam District, Jajpur District, Jharsuguda District, Kalahandi District,Kandhamal District, Khordha District, Kendrapara, Malkangiri District, Nabarangpur District, Nayagarh District, Nuapada District, Puri District, PTS, Nayagarh, Rayagada District, Rourkela District,Sudergarh District, OSAP 1st Bn Dhenkanal.

OSAP 2nd Bn., Jharsuguda, OSAP 3rd Bn., Koraput, OSAP 4th Bn., Rourkela, OSAP 6th Bn., Cuttack, OSAP 7th Bn., BBSR, OSAP 8th Bn., Chatrapur, OSAP 1st SS Bn., Sambalpur, OSAP 4th SS Bn., Malkangiri, OSAP 3rd SS Bn., Gajapati, SSBn., BBSR, 1st IR Bn., Koraput, 3rd IR Bn., Kalinganagar, 4th IR Bn., Deogarh, 5th IR Bn., Boudh, 6th IR Bn., Khordha, 8th Spl. IRBn. Bhanjanagar, OISF BBSR, CID, CB, UPD Cuttack , SOG, Keonjhar District and Sambalpur District were among those which contributed 702 Plasma so far.
