BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: With Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik missing no stone unturned to avail all possible help for the COVID-19 Warriors in the State, a Dog squad of Odisha Police has earned huge praise after saluting the COVID-19 warriors in their style.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had earlier announced Rs 50 lakh insurance for COVID Worriers and will be treated them as ‘martyrs’ and provide State funeral.
It may be noted here that, on May 3 a chopper of Indian Air Force had showered petals as a thanking gesture from the nation to all the Covid warriors.
These Corona warriors, including doctors, nurses, hygiene and sanitation staff, police personnel, media and several others engaged in maintenance of essential services and supplies have steadfastly contributed to the national effort to prevent spread of COVID19.
These Warriors are risking their lives every day to ensure that basic amenities such as electricity and water are delivered to everyone, streets are clean, basic food items are available, no patient is returned untreated, law & order is maintained and those Indians stranded abroad are brought back and cared for.
