MALKANGIRI/BHUBANESWAR: On Sunday on occasion of Akshya Tritaya, Malkangiri Police and BSF Odisha have established a camp at Bui Tulsi in the Tulsi RF area Malkangiri from being one of the worst affected districts in the country from LWE point of view in January 2020 has come a long way the district hasn’t reported any violence and has prompted Allu Arjun to shoot Pushpa II to the district.

‘From being amongst the worst affected district in the country till couple of years ago…Malkangiri has come a long way in not reporting any violence perpetrated by Maoists for some time now. Many congratulations,’ Odisha IGP(Opeations) Amitabh Thakur said in a tweet.
‘Odisha Police and Border Security Force established Tulsi COB near Tulsi Village today around 9 am. Tulsi has been one of the most naxal-affected area in Malkangiri and this COB would usher development and a sense of security in the region,’ Malkangiri Police said.
