BHUBANESWAR:Odisha people, see how the Chief Information Commissioner, Shri Manoj Parida, who draws a salary of Rs 4 lakh per month, wrote an order. Why do we call these characters as corrupt fools, please understand. Many are asking how this person got IAS. He can’t even write in English.
During the hearing, a 70-year-old man from Sri Parida Kendrapara district told the appellant Shri Achyut Swain, “Why are you carrying a bag and asking for RTI at this age? Leave all this and do the right thing.”
Unless it is extremely rude, such behavior towards an elderly person would not be tolerated in the courtroom. Because according to the law, the Information Commission will judge, why the information was not provided, whether the information can be provided or not, will treat the appellant politely, and will take action against the PIO who neglected to provide the information. This unruly and ignorant person has been brought here by an official, Mohan Majhi. You can understand more clearly about the rude behavior of Shri Parida from Respected Achyut Swain. My -9938094585
Shri Achyut Swain had requested some information from a panchayat in Deravish block. Since he did not receive the information, he filed a second appeal with the Information Commission. This is the year 2022. The Information Commission did not mention in its order what he had requested and what he had received.
The appellant also asked for the names, Aadhaar card copies, addresses or house numbers of the workers who worked in the NREGA work in the said Panchayat during the hearing, which the PIO did not provide. During the hearing, the appellant stated that he did not receive this information, but the Commissioner Shri Parida did not mention anything in his order. He also did not order the provision of this information.
Again, the appellant Mr. Swain asked for photos, CDs, and VIDEOs of NREGA work. During the hearing, the PIO showed some photos to the commission. But these photos were of some people in Cuttack district. The appellant Mr. Swain protested and drew the attention of the commissioner Mr. Parida. The commission did not say anything to the PIO. Again, he said that there was no CD or VIDEO of the PIO work.
It is mandatory to make a CD or VIDEO of the NREGA work and upload it on the website. The commission did not ask why there was no CD or video, said there was no information, and asked for an affidavit.
70-year-old Mr. Swain, who has been fighting corruption since 2022, had been waiting for justice from the Information Commission after not getting any information. The Chief Information Commissioner, Mr. Parida, gave this justice.
This is not just one hair, this is one of hundreds of hairs. Whether people get the information or not, hair is cut. 10,000 hairs have already been cut without giving the information by ordering like this.
