BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: While some MLAs like Tara Prasad Bahinipati and Mohammad Moqim are aspirants for the top PCC post, former PCC chief Sarat Pattanaik, former Rajya Sabha member and INTUC leader Rama Chandra Khuntia and former Union Minister Bhakta Charan Das are also in the race for it.
State party leaders arrived in New Delhi on Sunday for a meeting with All India Congress
Committee (AICC) vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday. Gandhi has called 17 State party leaders, including the nine MLAs, for discussions before selecting the new head of the OPCC in succession to present incumbent Niranjan Patnaik.
