BHUBANESWAR: All MLAs of Odisha State Assembly will have to undergo RT-PCR Test before the Assembly session that slated for September 29. There will be RT-PCR Test for all Officers and Staff of the OLA Secretariat and Staff of Chief Minister, Ministers, Leader of opposition, Government Chief Whip, Deputy Chief Whip from 7.30 AM to 9.30 AM from 26 to 28 September. Again on 5th Day of the sitting on 4 October, there will be RT-PCR Tests of the Members, PSOs and Drivers. If any Member feels uncomfortable during the Assembly Session, they may go for Antigen Test by the doctors in the Assembly premises.
Odisha Legislative Assembly session begins from 29 September and will continue till 7 October for which State Government has asked Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation(BMC) , Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited (OSMCL) and Director Capital Hospital to take steps for ensuring wellbeing of the Members and Officials of OLA.
ACS Health and Family Welfare Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra has issued detailed Action Plan for the BMC, OSMCL and Capital Hospital for prevention and containment of COVID-19 Pandemic.BMC will provide all infrastructure like putting up tents and all other related arrangements at least before three days before the commencement of Assembly session.
Department of Health and Family Welfare will provide Doctors and Medical Staff with testing materials in the Assembly Premises so that all facilities will be in position before testing.
