CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: Amarendra Pratap Swain alias Vicky , nephew of Odisha Minister Ranedra Pratap Swain , has been forwarded to court after police booked him under Sections 341, 294, 232, 506 and 34 of the IPC
Acting on the complaint, police examined the available CCTV footage and apprehended the accused under Sections 341, 294, 232, 506 and 34 of the IPC.
Vickey Swain allegedly thrashed two persons and forcing them to kneel down in Pratap Nagari area of Cuttack city. Vicky is also the General Secretary of the Biju Yuva Janata Dal. Efforts were on by cops to apprehend others involved in the offence.
Nirmal Kumar Swain, lodged a formal complaint with the Cuttack Sadar Police in this regard. Acting on it, police examined the available CCTV footage and apprehended the accused.
