BHUBANESWAR: Under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, the State Government has issued a final notification dated July 18, 2024 in the Odisha Gazette to impose enhanced minimum wages (both time and piece rated) in the state.
Hence, with effect from 18th July, 2024, the daily minimum wages of unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled and highly skilled workers employed in scheduled occupations have been increased to Rs.450, Rs.500, Rs.550 and Rs.600 respectively. The State Cabinet approved the increase in minimum wages on 10.07.2024
