BHUBANESWAR: The Winter Session of Odisha Assembly on Thursday began with obituary statements by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to the departed setting and former MLAs of the House.
Condolences paid to sitting MLAs Bijay Ranjan Singh Bariha and Bishnu Charan Sethi and former MLAs of Golak Naik, Gopi Narayan Das, Adikant Sethi and KN Tiwari.
Opposition, Leader Jayanarayan Mishra, while supporting the obituary statement of Chief Minister , also expressed condolences to the departed soul.
Congress leader in House, Narasingh Mishra, also supported the obituary motion and expressed his condolences to the departed sitting and former Members. CPI(M) MLA Laxman Munda also supported the move.
