BHUBANESWAR: In a bid to chalk out plans for students aspiring higher studies, Odisha
Higher Education Department has convened a meeting of all university vice-chancellors on Wednesday which will be held via video conferencing at the Lok Seva Bhawan at 10 am. Odisha Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo is expected to attend the meet.
In the meeting, several issues like the delay in conducting examinations and the revised guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) on commencement of the academic session will be discussed.
While the vice-chairperson of the Odisha State Higher Education Council will attend the video conferencing from the conference hall of the Rural Development Department on Lok Seva Bhawan premises, the vice-chancellors have been directed to remain present in the conference hall of the respective district collector’s office.
