BHUBANESWAR: It seems no takers for Odisha Health and Fmily Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das in both BJD Party and Government with the power of western Odisha leader gradually falling.
Even though Naba Das has considerable influence in politics of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and for which, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had downplayed veteran Kishore Mohanty and had inducted him in his Cabinet but things took u turn after 5T and CM’s Secretary V Kartikeyan Pandian ventured into field visit.
On Wednesday, the State Government appointed 10 senior IAS officers to supervise health services in 13 Medical Colleges and Hospitals and district level hospitals while the Minister has no role in it.
Das was in Congress and had switched to BJD and elected , became Minister but he now found himself in no man’s world.
“Whether Health Minister Naba Kishore Das is losing confidence of the Chief Minister… Naveen has appointed 10 senior IAS officers known for their commitment to work, honesty and integrity to work as coordinating officers and ensure that there is an overall in the improvement in the infrastructures of 13 reputed medical institutions,, This initiative is good for millions of people. But whats is stored in the fate of the Health Minister? It will be known when Naveen goes for next reshuffle in the Ministry —twittarati said.
