BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Transports, Commerce, Steel and Mines Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena while replying to MLA Amarendra Dash in the State Assembly, said Odisha Government has No Scheme on Laxmi Bus Service but composition of some English Alphabets makes it as LAccMI-Location Accessible Multi Modal Initiative , which alreday caused Rs 374 Crore Loss to State Exchequer between 12.10.2023 to19.08.2024.
The Minister said, Odisha State Road Transport Corporation has not purchased any big or small buses for this purpose while several private players were assigned for this on Gross Cost Contract Model –GCC Model.
The Minister said, these private players included M/s Adinath Bulk Pvt Ltd , M/s Antony Road Transport, M/s Chartered Speed Lt, M/s Kunal Transport, M/s Progressive Transit Pvt Ltd, M/s Travel Time, M/s RK City Bus Operation Pvt Ltd, M/s Sri Durgamba
