BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal is likely to release a book titled as ‘Odisha-The Railway Story’, written by former Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer, East Coast Railways, Dilip Kumar Samantaray here at Jayadev Bhawan on September 4.
Besides that, a seminar will be held on the said subject, sources said. State Transport and Higher Education Secretary, Bishnupada Sethi, Secretary Information Technology and Electronics, Manoj Kumar Mishra, Noted writer and Padma Bhushan, Dr Pratibha Ray, GM East Coast Railways, SK Srivastava and other senior Railway official are also expected to attend the book release ceremony, sources added.
Writer Dilip Kumar Samantray, who retired from service, was a very well-known face in Indian Railways and he had served in much capacity and played a key role in several key Railway infrastructure projects in Odisha and other States. Samantray was also a well know Sports Organiser of Indian Railways.
