Odisha Government hikes monthly salary of Junior Teachers from Rs 13,800 to Rs 20,000

BHUBANESWAR:   The Naveen Patnaik led Odisha Government on Wednesday has increased the monthly salary of the junior teachers (those who have worked in planned posts for 3 years) in the primary and higher primary schools of the state from Rs.13,800 to Rs.20,000.

It will be effective retroactively from 01.01.2023. This will benefit 12,784 junior teachers. An additional Rs 95 Crore will be spent annually for this.
