Odisha gets Rs 7.75 Crores under NMSA in last 4 Years, says Dharmendra Pradhan

BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday said Odisha got ₹7.75 crores in the last 4 years under the National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture.

“Thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Miniser Narendra Singh Tomar for granting ₹7.75 crores to Odisha in the last 4 years under the National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture to stimulate the growth of agroforestry models and empower women and small & marginal farmers in the state,” Union Minister Pradhan tweeted.

“Agroforestry has immense potential to mitigate the climate change effects, conservation of natural resources, creation of additional source of livelihood and making fruits of development reach to traditional forest dwellers, tribals and poor in the country, including in Odisha,” he said.
