JAJPUR/BERHAMPUR: Odisha family waits reports on missing IAF AN-32 aircraft. Two Odia jawans, Purnachandra Senapati (28) of Rangaranga village under Jajpur district’s Korei block and Charan Maharana (25) of Sukunda village in Ganjam district, are among the 29 persons who are on board the missing Indian Air Force flight on Friday.
Senapati works as a fitter in Naval Armament Depot (NAD) of Visakhapatnam. His family members of two younger brothers, younger sister and widowed mother are in a state of shock.
The family members of Charan knew about Charan’s missing on Friday afternoon through a phone call from his friend. Charan works as a Technician in the Engineering section of the Air Force, Vishakhapatnam.
He had come to his house on July 6 and returned to office on July 11. He had talked to family members three days ago. Charan’s family members and villagers have prayed for him to come back home safely.
