BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Government has extended the lockdown imposed since May 5 , till June 1, Special Relief Commissioner said on Tuesday.
Morning shopping allowed from 7am to 11am instead of 6am to 12noon. Weekend shutdowns to continue. Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra shared the details with media.
The state Government has tightened the restrictions to be imposed during the lockdown. The relaxation period for people to buy essential items has further been restricted. Shops will now remain open till 11 AM every day.
“People can buy the essentials between 6 am and 11 am by walking to the nearby markets. Number of guests for marriage-related events gas been reduced to 25 from 50,” the Chief Secretary said.
