BHUBANESWAR: Former Binjharpur MLA in Odisha’s Jajpur, Arjun Das, who recently joined Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi, led by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, on Saturday died in a road accident. Das is son of former Jajpur MP Anadi Das. Local Sand mafias hand suspected in this incident while police have started a probe into the issue, sources said.
The Ex MLA Das, who represented Binjharpur Assembly Constituency between 1995- 2000, died in a road accident on Kharasrota bridge in Jajpur district after a speeding Hyva truck ran over him while he was travelling to Bhubaneswar from Jajpur on his motorcycle.
