BHUBANESWAR: Director of Mines under the State Government’s Steel and Mines Department has issued notice inviting tender for granting mining lease for 4 iron, ore and manganese blocks including 2 virgin blocks.
These 4 mineral Blocks included Koira Iron Ore Block, lease of which expired, Kedesala North-East Iron Ore Virgin block, Kusumdihi Manganese and Iron Ore block , lease of which expired and Orahuri Manganese and Iron Ore virgin block.
The last date for purchase of tender documents after payment of a tender fee of Rs 5 Lakh on website of e-auction platform provider is May 9, 2022 and last date of submission of bids is May 17, 2022 on or before 3pm.
“In Exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(B) of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation )Act , 1957 and in accordance with the mineral(auction) rules, 2015 as amended from the time to time notified thereunder, the Government of Odisha has identified 4 mineral blocks as under for electonic auction and there by invites tenders the purpose of granting of mining lease 2 mineral blocks of iron ore and 2 mineral blocks of manganese and iron ore,” Odisha Director Mines said in a notice dated March 29.
