BHUBANESWAR: Director of Mines of Odisha Steel and Mines Department has invited Bids for auction of 6 mineral blocks including Teherai Iron Ore and Manganese block, auction of which was postponed due to less participation.
Interested bidders are requested to purchase the tender paper by November 29 and last date for submission of the bids slated for December 6. The price of tender document for mineral blocks is Rs 2 Lakh except Teherai Iron Ore and Manganese block as its document price is Rs 5 Lakh.
The 6 blocks included Teherai Iron Ore and Manganese block, which lease was expired earlier while rest 5 blocks are virgin blockK. These included Pipalmunda Limestone Block, Garramura Limestone Block, Uskalvagu limestone block and Naringpanda Graphite block. Teherai block is being auctioned under second attempt of auction as per clause (b) of sub-rule(11) of rule 9 of Mineral (auction) Rules 2015 and amendments thereafter. Tarama Apartment Pvt Ltd is debarred from participating in Teherai composite block.
