SUNABEDA/BHUBANESWAR: Kamaleshwari Marie, surrendered cadre, successfully completed 3 month long computer training programme. DGP SK Bansal handed over certificate to her. “We are committed to rehabilitate all surrendered Maoists. This should motivate others to surrender & avail benefits,” Odisha Police said.
Earlier, DGP Bansal has reviewed anti-Maoists operations under South Western Police range. DGP Bansal also reviewed security arrangements for coming Urban Local Body polls.
Director Intelligence, Lalit Das ADGP(Law and Order) RK Sharma , IGP(Operations) Amitabh Thakur, DIG , SIW, Anirudha Singh and senior officials of Central Forces also joined the meeting.
DIG, SW Pandit Rajesh Uttamrao and Koraput SP Varun Guntupalli made presentations on LWE, ULB preparedness and crime matters. All senior officers attended the meeting at Koraput.
