BHUBANESWAR: With fresh 3 cases from Sundargarh and earlier 6 from Jajpur, Odisha COVID-19 positive cases was on Sunday reached at 103. 23 years old male, 60 male and 57 female found positive in Sundargarh. 2 are confirmed close contacts of earlier positive while one is a suspected contact.Earlier fresh 6 positive cases from Jajpur were reported, sources said on Sunday.
The new 9 cases included 3 cases from Sundargarh, 23 years old male, 60 male and 57 female. while 52 years old male, 23 years male, 49 male, 57 male, 39 male and 50 male in Jajpur, all were West Bengal returnees. Contact tracing and follow up action is being done, sources added.Official sources said the five districts are Kalahandi, Sundargarh, Cuttack, Puri and Dhenkanal where there have been no active cases.
All active cases of remaining five districts are stable & are expected to recover well,” added the State Health dept.On the other hand, a COVID-19 patient from Sundargarh’s Rourkela recovered from the deadly viurs taking the total recovered cases to 34 in Odisha.
