Odisha COVID-19 positive case reaches at 122

BHUBANESWAR: With reports fresh 4 COVID-19 positive cases from Bhubaneswar, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar and Deogarh, Odisha’s tally was on Wednesday reached at 122. This was for the first time positive cases were reported from Keonjhar, Deogarh and Jharsuguda while Bhubaneswar’s Madhusudan Nagar case was related to case no-41.

Meanwhile, sources said more than 200 Odia migrants mostly from southern district of Ganjam, the home turf of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and few others from bordering Nayagarh, who began their journey from Surat of Gujarat are expected to arrive in Odisha by Wednesday night. They were stranded in Surat due to lockdown.

“They were coming in three buses from Hari Nagar area and one bus from Bhestan area of Surat. While three of the buses are Ganjam-bound, one bus will reach Nayagarh,” sources said.
