BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday directed the Finance Department to prepare Annual Budget for the State for the year 2024-25.
CM Majhi, who also holds Finance and Planning & Convergence Departments, held a meeting Development Commissioner and other senior officers of the P & C Department.
Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Special Secretary Planning & Convergence Chithra Armugam, Additional Secretary P&C Manish Agrawal and other senior officials were present.
The Chief Minister advised to start the process of consultation with the Finance Department and other stakeholders for preparation of a people-centric Annual Budget 2024-25 for Programme Expenditure that reflects the hopes and aspirations of the people.
