BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led a Triranga rally on Wednesday to express solidarity with the Indian armed forces and celebrate the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’.
The Chief Minister Majhi flagged off the rally from the Kalinga Stadium. The rally proceeded through the city, culminating at the Raj Bhavan, with participants proudly waving the Tricolour flag and resonating the patriotic chant of “Vande Mataram”.
BJP State President Manmohan Samal, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Parvati Parida, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond, Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Higher Education Minister Suryavansi Suraj, Cooperative Minister Pradeep Bal Samanta, Fisheries and Human Resource Development Minister Gokulananda Mallick, and Industries Minister Sampada Chandra Swain and others joined the rally.
CM Majhi highlighted the significance of the rally in further bolstering the nation’s fight against terrorism following the triumph of ‘Operation Sindoor’. “When all Indians, irrespective of caste and religion, unite under the Tricolour, no force will succeed against us,” he asserted. He eloquently highlighted the inspiring ideals of devotion and harmony embodied by the three colours of the national flag, underscoring its role as a testament to the nation’s resolve, struggle, and sacrifice.
Chief Minister Majhi further stated that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the safety and security of all citizens are ensured. He echoed the Prime Minister’s sentiment that a strong India is crucial for the peace and security of every Indian. He also highlighted the global resonance of Prime Minister Modi’s firm stance against nuclear blackmail.
