Odisha CM inaugurates Tech Mahindra’s International BPO Centre

BHUBANESWAR: Keeping his Government’s technology friendly police going on, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday  inaugurated IT major, Tech Mahindra’s International BPO centre at Fortune Towers in Bhubaneswar.

According to a press note, the BPO centre will open up additional job avenues and boost ‘skilled in Odisha’ campaign, helping the candidates explore opportunities in the international business domain in the state.

Tech Mahindra had signed an MoU with Odisha Infrastructure Development Corporation on November 4 to open the BPO centre at Fortune Tower in Bhubaneswar for its fortune 500 global customers.

Tech Mahindra CEO CP Gurnani thanked the Chief Minister and the State for their cooperation in taking the deal forward. He said “We were in need of a new facility which can accommodate 500 employees. From this new facility in Bhubaneswar, all processes of Tech Mahindra will be functioning. The facility will cater to the services of big multinational customers of our company.”
