BENGALURU/BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Wednesday met senior industrialists in Bengaluri and discussed their plans for Odisha and personally invited them to the Make in Odisha Conclave’22.
Chief Minister Patnaik highlighted the major pro-business reforms undertaken by his Government and ask the industrialists to explore Odisha as a potential destination for setting up their business units.Sources said, IT-major IBM to open its office in Bhubaneswar in Odisha next month with employee strength of 200 to 400.
Odisha with its long coastline and developed ports in Dhamra, Paradeep and Gopalpur acts as a Gateway to the East and South East Asia.
Chief Minister Patnaik’s government in Odisha has undertaken massive infrastructure development work to create a port-led industrial ecosystem in the state catering to both domestic and export markets.
