BHUBANESWAR: The Commissionerate Police on Sunday arrested five persons including prime accused and detained one more in connection with two separate murders which took place yesterday during Holi celebrations in Bhubanewar.
The prime accused along with a minor has been arrested in connection with the Sahid Nagar murder case.
As per Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena, the murders occurred following a heated argument during Holi celebrations. There was no prior enmity between the victim and the accused persons. The altercation escalated, leading to the fatal attack.
Similarly, four persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the Macheswar murder case.
