BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Odisha Cadre IAS officer Santosh Sarangi has joined as Additional Secretary in Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education, led by Dr Ramesh Pokhoriyal .
“Joined as Additional Secretary, Dept of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Govt of India. Also assumed the charge of Chairman, National Council for Teachers’ Education. Will do my best. #NewEducationPolicy,” IAS officer Santosh Sarangi @SantoshSarangii. The IAS officer is husband of BJP Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha MP and National Spokesperson, Aparajita Sarangi.
The 1994 batch IAS officer Sarangi was earlier relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary of Science and Technology Department of Odisha.
IRTS office Manoj Kumar Mishra had given additional charge of Secretary of Science and Technology Department along with his duties as Secretary In-charge of Electronics and Information Technology Department with additional charge of CRC-cum–Special Secretary of Commerce and Transport Department.
