Odisha Cabinet nod to Rs 134.82 crore water project for Gajapati

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday has approved rural piped water supply projects worth ₹134.82Cr under #BASUDHA for Kashinagar and Gumma blocks in Gajapati district.This will augment water supply in 103 villages of the district and benefit 59,198 people.

The Cabinet  has approved piped water supply projects worth ₹258.67Cr under #BASUDHA scheme in Koraput & Malkangiri districts. The projects will be completed in two years and supply potable drinking water to 1.6 lakh people in 374 villages.

The Odisha Cabinet has also decided to provide land to those persons who had lost their land following  beautification of Sri Mandir. The land losers will be provided with 6.661 acres at Mangalaghat in Puri. They are not required to pay the registration fee and stamp duty for the deal.
