BHUBANESWAR:   Odisha Cabinet Chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday  has approved amendment to the Odisha Civil Service (Fixation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1989.

The upper age limit of candidates has been increased from 32 to 38 years to provide them enough opportunity to appear in the Odisha Civil Service recruitment exams for the calendar year 2024.

Cabinet has also approved allotment of five acres of land in Bhubaneswar free of premium to the Public Health Foundation of India. The land will be utilised for establishment of a permanent campus of Indian Institute of Public Health that will create skilled human resource in public health system.
