PURI: BJP National President and Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda on Friday addressed the extended State Executive Meeting of Odisha BJP in Puri. The Party President and Union Minister
Odisha given 78 MLAs including 18 Tribal MLAs and 20 MPs with 40.07 % vote share in Assembly polls to BJP, for which Nadda bow down before people of Odisha and thanked people of tribal belt for voting to BJP candidate.
‘The recent elections saw around 45% votes in Odisha in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Lok Sabha polls.We are scripting glorious chapters in the country’s history.It was after around 60 years that someone was chosen as the Prime Minister for the third time. India has been making big strides under the able leadership of PM Modi Ji, he said.
‘We have been committed towards ensuring welfare of our people.Today, I assure that we will leave no stone unturned to bring the schedule caste community and our tribal brothers to mainstream, Nadda said.
On behalf of Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy CMs KV Singh , Pravati Parida, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram, Nadda said, Party will continued to focus on Tribal region.
Nadda also praised State President Manmohan Samal for his committed leadership for Party’s historic win. Nadda also lauded dedicated efforts of Party workers in Odisha to ensure a massive victory.
‘The Congress party has no regard for the Constitution, yet it falsely claims to be its ‘protector’.Similarly, it has no concern for tribal communities, but pretends to be their advocate.Its actions contradict its words, exposing its hypocrisy. The Congress party isn’t a ‘Rakshak’ (protector), but ‘Bhakshak’ (exploiter) of the Constitution, JP Nadda said.
