BHUBANESWAR:  Soon after he took the baton of Odisha BJP, Manmohan Samal, is uttering one word that is, BJP is gearing up for 51% vote share in the State and will form the next Government. If Samal is right, his action also clear and laud.

Take a close look at Manmohan Samal’s New Delhi trip, during his visit, Samal, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National General Secretary Odisha in-charge Sunil Bansal, BJP National VP Baijayant Jay Panda, Union Ministers Giriraj Singh , Ashwini Vaishnaw , National General secretary Binod Tawade but the most important face in Odisha BJP , Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was not seen nowhere.  Samal himself shared photos of his meeting with PM and other leaders but there was no photo or meeting with Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was reported.

Back to Bhubaneswar, Samal attended a function of Bhubaneswar Party MP Aparajita Sarangi. Sarangi has been facing isolation within the Party, particularly, from Dharemndra Pradhan camp followers, since her clean and oratory image drew attention of Central leadership. Samal’s meeting with Sarangi bears greater significance.

Meanwhile, sources said, Dharmendra Pradhan was putting pressure on Central leadership to appoint his close aids as State President and he even had recommended former Minister Surama Padhi and few other’s name for the post but BJP in Charge, Sunil Bansal, after collecting reports from various districts, advocated the name of Samal for BJP Odisha chief  , which irked Union Minister Pradhan, sources added.

Another source , said, Samal’s close proximity with Party’s National VP Baijayant Jay Panda and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, has not gone well with Union Minister Pradhan camp followers. BJP Central leadership more or  less have smelled division in the State unit due to supremacy of Union Minister Pradhan and as part of damage control exercise, Central leadership, opted Manmohan Samal to lead the Party in Odisha, sources added. And now with Manmohan Samal, taking lead, some big surprises may hit Odisha politics soon.
