BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Assembly on Tuesday witnessed a very funny scene after former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik met with BJP Kantabanji MLA Laxman Bag , who had defeated the BJD Supremo in recently concluded Assembly polls.
Naveen Patnaik after taking oath as MLA of Hinjli, was meeting members while on his way, he stopped at BJP MLA Laxman Bag, when the latter raised from his seat to pay respect to the BJD boss, the former CM asked about his identity while Bag shared the details which created a very funny scenes.
The former CM Patnaik reportedly said “who ! You have defeated me”. Chief Minister Mohan Chanran Majhi, Aul MLA Pratap Deb and Digapahandi MLA Sidhant Mohapatra , who were there , could not control their laughs.
48 year old MLA Bag had defeated Biju Janata Dal’s supremo and five-time Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik by 16000 votes.
