BHUBANESWAR: As many as 158 Aahar Kendras and 34 Central Kitchens have received ISO Certification for maintaining quality and standard in Odisha. The Kendras have been assigned to feed public with meal@5 every day. Housing and Urban Development have twitted the development.
The State government had launched Aahar scheme to provide affordable and quality meals to the needy in urban areas. With ISO certification, 158 Aahar Kendras and 34 Central Kitchens a major achievement has been registered in the transformation of urban India.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also expressed happiness for this remarkable feat and congratulated the HUD department, District Collectors and Industry partners for making this happen.
