CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: BJD MLA Pranab Prakash Das, representing Jajpur, was elected as the President of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) unopposed in the election on Friday. Industrialists and outgoing President, Pankaj Lochan Mohanty while representing Cuttack, elected as Vice President.
Sanjay Behera , representing Rising Students’ Club, was elected as the Secretary of OCA for the second time while Prabhat Kumar Bhol, who represents Sundargarh , elected as Joint Secretary. Similarly, Bikash Pradhan , representing Khorda, retained his position as the Treasurer of OCA. Pratap Pradhan representing Angul , elected as Apex Council Member.
Total six candidates contesting for various posts in the OCA were elected unopposed in the polls in Odisha cricket body.
The Annual General Meeting of held at OCA Conference Hall, Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. In this meeting, the proceedings of the previous Annual General Meeting were confirmed unanimously. The Secretary Report, Annual Audit Report FY 2021-22 & the Annual Budget FY 2023-24 were also unanimously confirmed. Other agendas were also discussed and confirmed.
