BHUBANESWAR: On Friday on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Sri Prasanta Kumar Rout , Additional Sub Collector, Nawarangpur, in Nawarangpur, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance on the strength of search warrant issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh, at 9 locations.
Places of search:
(1) The double storied residential house of of S.O. located at HIG-115, Kanan Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
(2) The residential house of S.O. located at Nawarangpur, Dist- Nawarangpur.
(3) The office chamber of S. O. located at Nawarangpur, Dist-Nawarangpur.
(4) The parental house of S.O. located at Village-Bahudarada, PS-Bhadrak, Dist-Bhadrak.
This apart, searches are being conducted at 5 other locations of acquaintances of Sri Rout.
9 teams of Odisha Vigilance consisting of 02 Addl. SP, 07 DSsP, 08 Inspectors and other staff are engaged in searches. Further report follows.
