NUAPADA:After the untimely demise of late Rajubhai Dholakia, by-elections are now going to be held in Nuapada Assembly. In this, the leaders of various parties are always spreading false propaganda without knowing anything about Nuapada. During the previous government, ‘respect for mother, work for village’ was limited to words. But in the last 15 months, the development work of the double-engine government has reached the rural areas of Odisha, said MLA Shri Laxman Bagh at a press conference held in Nuapada.
Mr. Bagh said that after the BJP formed the government alone in the state, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi took the lead as the Chief Minister and first of all gave importance to women. He gave financial assistance to mothers and sisters twice a year under the Subhadra Yojana. But the opposition could not tolerate this and is always making false allegations. Just go and ask that mother who is working in another house with a child in her arms, in the fields, in the 50-degree heat for a contractor, leaving her own land and depriving her children of education and going to work in the fields.
Only that mother can tell how much is 10 thousand rupees a year? With this money, a mother can enroll her child in school, do small business and support her family. Both the opposition BJD and Congress cannot tolerate this. During the previous BJD government, about 6 and a half thousand schools were closed in the state. After Mohan Majhi’s government came to power, more than 18 thousand teachers have been appointed to provide good education in schools. Many students from this community have benefited from the 11.25% reservation for the OBC community in higher education. The Chief Minister has given grants under the Madho Singh Hand Expenses Scheme, and children from the poor class are getting education. In Nuapada district, farmers were always treated unfairly during the previous government.
But after the BJP government came to power, the support price of a quintal of paddy was increased to Rs 3,100. Now the BJP government has decided to build a big winter storage in Nuapada district. The Chief Minister has taken the responsibility of the overall development of the district and has taken the responsibility of the development of the district. He has announced projects worth Rs 1,100 crore to develop the district. Out of this, more than Rs 600 crore has been announced for agriculture and irrigation alone.
During the previous government, the Yadav community was always treated unfairly. They were always cheated. But after the Mohan Majhi government came, the sorrow of the Yadav community has gone away.
The Honorable Chief Minister Majhi has decided to build a big building on 2 acres of land for the Yadavs. Mohan Majhi has provided land to the Central Government to connect Nuapada with Bargarh district through railway. He has announced to make Khariar Road, which has been demanded for a long time, a municipality and Komana, Sinapally NAC. Shri Bagh said that the dream that the Chief Minister has for the development of Nuapada will definitely be fulfilled.
Utkal Yadav Council Vice President and Kalahandi MP candidate Lambodhar Niyal said, BJD has only learned to cheat people, but the BJP government is developing. During the BJP government, there were plans to make paved roads to all villages, but the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has doubled the paved road scheme.
Every village is being provided with 24-hour electricity facility, drinking water system, and 15 kg of rice is being provided under the Garib Kalyan Yojana. Since the Chief Minister himself has taken the responsibility of Nuapada district, in the coming days this district will no longer be considered backward and will become the number 1 district of Odisha. Therefore, the people of Nuapada have decided to stay with the government and work for the development of Nuapada, Niyal said.
